Barnwell – Elizabeth Myra Rice, 74 passed away on October 19th at Aiken Regional Medical Center . A memorial service will be held on Monday October 22 at 11 a.m. at Dyches Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David E. Miller, Sr. officiating.
Elizabeth was born in Toccoa, Georgia to the late John Leonard Heath and Ollie May Yearwood. She was a member of Hawthorn Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and collecting piggy banks. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.
Survivors are her loving husband John Rice, two sons, James Joseph (Cindy) Rice of Alto, GA and Dennis (Julia) Rice of Alpharetta, GA. One daughter Darlene Ann (David) Miller of Howey-In-The- Hills, Florida. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
