Barnwell – Horace E. Croft, Jr., 76, –passed away peacefully on February 24, 2022 surrounded by family at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be Sunday, February, 27, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.at Dyches Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Epperson. The family will receive friends after the service.
He was the son of the late Horace E. Croft and Amelia Croft.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandson. He was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church and Woodmen Life # 29. He worked previously at Piggly Wiggly, Bolen Builders Supply, Shuron Textron and retired from Barnwell School District 45. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Brenda C. Croft; daughter Sharon C. Still and grandson Gene Still; three brothers; Kenny (Shannon) Croft, Williston, Jackie(Gayle) Croft, Barnwell and Wayne (Deborah) Croft Barnwell. Many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nieces and nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and Horace E. Croft and Amelia Croft.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral and Crematory with arrangements.
