Snelling – Paul Clark Vance, Sr., 49, went into eternal rest on May 23, 2019. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Friendship Baptist Church, Barnwell, SC with Rev. Kyle Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church cemetery.
Paul was a graduate of Jefferson Davis Academy where he loved playing football. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College. He was a Navy Veteran and a self-employed truck driver. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his father Patrick Furman Zorn, Sr. and his mother Jewel Beard. One son Paul Clark Vance, Jr. One daughter Paula Elizabeth Vance of Lexington and one grandson Nicholas Austin Witt, Jr. Four Brothers, Kevin (Rebecca) Zorn of Barnwell, Phillip (Naomi) Beard of Greenville, Glen (Teresa) Griffin of Aiken and Michael Griffin of Aiken. Six sisters, Frances Beach of Barnwell, Patty (Hank) Zorn of Barnwell, Evonne (Ken) Villegas of New Ellenton, Tonya Boyle of Barnwell, Trina (Ruben) Manriquez of Savannah, Dixie Zorn of Blackville. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by two brothers, Richard Zorn and Patrick Zorn, Jr.
The family asked for any donations to be made to Dyches Funeral Home in care of Paul Vance, Sr.
The Family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and crematory with the arrangements.
