Barnwell – William M. Towne, 73 went into eternal rest on January 2, 2019 at Palmetto Health Richland surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 3 pm. at Hilda Southern Methodist Church with the Rev. Donnie Delk officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Hilda Southern Methodist Church.

William was the son of the late William and Martha Towne. He was a member of
Masonic Lodge 426 and Omar Shrine Temple, Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was a truck driver for 60 years and loved traveling and talking to people and never met a stranger. He was a loving brother and will be missed by many.
Survivors include four sisters, Anna (Ricky) Williams of North, SC, Judy (John) McClary of Hilda, SC, Susie (Billy) Dyches of Blackville, SC and Missi (J.J.) Cruz of Barnwell. Two Brothers, Thomas H. (Linda) Towne of Barnwell, Tony (Cynthia) Towne of Barnwell.
