Sean Arlen Clancy

Sean Arlen Clancy ,25 of Aiken passed away on September 17, 2026.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, Sept 26, at First Baptist Church of Barnwell. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service with the Reverend Mark Epperson and David Vosseller officiating.

    Sean was born on October 10, 2001, in Bamberg, South Carolina. Sean had a beautiful inquisitive Spirit. Sean was endlessly curious and found joy in anything that could teach him something new. He loved to dive deep into the things he cared about — art, theology, mythology, music , theater, video games, animals, good food, and most of all, his family. He was just as devoted to his second family — his crew at EnergySolutions for almost four years, and his beloved church family at Lakemont Presbyterian in Augusta. His kindness, and the love he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who know him.

He is survived by his parents, his Mother Janet Homyer and Stepfather Eric Homyer of Williston, SC, and his Father Jack Clancy of Zephyr Hills, FL.

He is also survived by his Siblings, John Eric Clancy and Wife Zoe Gingrich of Pleasanton, CA; Elizabeth Clancy Harbuck and Husband William C. Harbuck of Aiken, SC; and Emily Clancy and her partner Michael Moraine of Boulder, CO.

His Stepsiblings, Josh Homyer and Wife Olivia Homyer of Salley, SC; Joseph Homyer of Augusta, GA; and Kathryn Homyer and Fiancé Nathan Mims of Augusta, GA.

His Grandparents, Maternal Grandmother Charlotte Douglas of Williston, SC, and Paternal Grandmother MaryAnn McDonough of Pennsylvania, and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends felt like family. He is now reunited with his twin Brother, Jadon, who passed before birth, and his maternal Grandfather, Rev. Shed Douglas.
