Barnwell – Dean Adam Nix, 49, went into eternal rest on February 8, 2022. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 18th, 2022, 2:00 p.m. with Chris Sandifer officiating at Dyches Funeral Home, 11372 Ellenton Street, Barnwell, SC.
Dean was the son of the late Lonnie and Mary Nix. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, going to the drag strip and Carolina Gamecock football. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by many.
Dean is survived by his three children; Christopher (Stephanie) Nix, Cordova, SC, Ashley Nix, Orangeburg, SC and Barbra Herron of Barnwell; two brothers, Lonnie (Nicole) Padgett, Cope, SC, Greg (Sherry) Nix, Barnwell, SC; two sisters, Dee Dee (Charles) Meeks, Bamberg, SC, Karen (Gerald) Proveaux, Branchville, SC and five grandchildren; special friend, Angela Bryant. Numerous nieces and nephews and his furbaby, Zeus.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
