Shelby W. Smoak

Shelby W. Smoak, 85, passed away November 30, 2024. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery officiated by Rev. Mark Epperson.
Shelby was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva Mae Wallace. She loved to travel, shop and go to yard sales. She volunteered at Gail Reyes Senior Center of Barnwell. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Grubbs of Snelling, SC; her son, George (Mia) Handberry of Martin, S.C.; one sister, Adelle Tisdale of Kingstree, S.C.; four grandchildren, Sonya Eckhardt, Tonya Nunnally of Gastonia, N.C., Cordie Handberry and Leighton Handberry of Martin, S.C.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward Smoak.
