Barnwell, SC – Mr. Gerald Eugene Treacle, 80, of Barnwell entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 18th. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday April 30.2015 At Fort Jackson National Cemetery with Military Honors
Born in Canton, Ohio, Mr. Treacle was the son of the late James William Treacle and Nada M. Randle. He was in the US Air Force for many years before going on to work as a social worker. He was a member of Moreland Christian Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and the DAV in Canton, Ohio.
Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Savage of Barnwell; one son, Gregory Treacle of Denver, Colorado; 3 grandchildren, Nicole Phillips, Kristin Savage, and Heather Pisony; 3 great- grandchildren, all of Barnwell. He was also survived by the love of his life, Lois Schrock.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory of Barnwell with the arrangements.
