Barnwell, SC — Leslie B. Dyches 66 died Monday February 3, 2014 at his home in Barnwell, SC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2 pm at Green Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Chavis and June Still officiating. Burial will be at Green Branch Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 Tuesday evening February 4th at Dyches Funeral Home.
Mr. Dyches was born in Barnwell, SC and was the son of the late Norman B. Dyches and Myrtle Still Dyches. Mr. Dyches served in the Army and was retired from construction as a heavy equipment operator. He was a loving father and grandfather. He dearly loved boiling and selling “Boiled P-Nuts” and his children said there are too many memories to count. He will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife Doris Dyches of the home. Two sons Greg (Karen) Crosby, Waterloo, Leslie Dave Dyches, Greenwood. One sisters Norma Jean Dyches, Five brothers Samuel (Sheena) Dyches, Bamberg, Steve (Debra) Dyches, Williston, Ronnie (Lindy) Dyches, Blythewood, Marshall Dyches, Barnwell, Jerry Dyches, Williston, Three Grandchildren, Dustin Crosby, Courtney Crosby and Dallas Dyches. He is predeceased by a sister Annette Owens and a brother MacArthur Dyches.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home of Barnwell with the arrangements.
