Joseph Henry Templeton

Joseph Henry Templeton, 68, passed away at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital on November 14, 2024 surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Joseph was born in California on May 5, 1956. He served his country in the US Navy and was a Mason for forty years at the Blackville Lodge. He worked at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. He loved cooking and Gamecock Football. He was a loving husband of twenty five years and a devoted Daddy to his “Fur Baby’s (Pappy and Dro), Ben Platt. He was a “ PaPa” Joey to his grandchildren who he loved dearly. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Templeton; his Mother, Betty Templeton; three children; Christina (Bobby) Collins of Aiken, Rebecca (Trey) Chavis of Barnwell and Stephanie (Jason Davis) of Barnwell; seven grandchildren, Sheldon, Leighton, Braelyn, Jaden, Casen, Austin and Caylee; one sister, Diana Templeton Atteberry and one brother, Joe Templeton, Jr.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Joe Melvin Templeton and his brother, Bennie Templeton.

The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
