Ehrhardt – Mary Belle Gillam, 76, went to be with her Lord on August 23, 2023, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Ghents Branch Baptist Church, Denmark, S.C. with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Bert Petty will be officiating. Pal-bearers; Jimmy Hartzog, Rodger Crider, Buddy Harrison, Justin Blankenship, Quinton McCaw, Colby McCaw and Ryan Blankenship.
Mary was born in Bamberg, S.C. to the late Ruby and Mary Gillam. She was a member of Ghents Branch Baptist Church. She had a green thumb and loved to read and watch TV. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by many. The family says they only had one “Belle”.
Survivors include two sons; Jeff (Sarah) Croft, Barnwell, SC and Joseph (Donna) Blankenship, Scottsville, KY; two daughters, Angie (Randy) Morris, Barnwell, SC and Amy Blankenship, Lebanon, TN; daughter in law, Emily Judy, Blackville, SC; one brother, Harry Gillam, Williston, SC; four sisters, Ruby (J.C.) Lancaster, Blackville, SC, Peggy (Jim) Granlund, Beech Island, SC, Diane (Andy) Weeks, Barnwell, SC and Brenda (Lem, Jr.) Harper, Columbia, SC; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Barry Blankenship, and her brother Carey Gillam.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with arrangements.
