Francis “Wayne” Bodiford

Barnwell – It is with great sadness that the family of Francis “Wayne” Bodiford, 73, announces his passing after a courageous battle he fought with cancer and now he is rejoicing with his Savior in heaven. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Barnwell, S.C. with the Rev. Jim Parnell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Wayne was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he taught training union and was loved by many. He loved landscaping, wood working, reading and automotive work. He was always friendly and very giving and had a big heart. He was loving brother and friend and will be missed by many.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his sister Rhonda Little of Gaston, SC and brother Calvin “Nicky” (Terri) Bodiford of Cassatt, SC; several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Calvin and Onnie Love Bodiford and his sister Bonnie King.
The family would like to thank PruittHealth of Columbia, Aiken Oncology, family members and friends for all the love and support that was shown to him during his illness.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
