Barnwell – James Douglas Rigdon, Sr., 80, passed away on July 6, 2023 surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
James was the son of the late Joseph and Jessica Rigdon. He was retired from Energy Solutions of Barnwell, SC.
He is survived by three children; Gayshia (Annette) Howard of Barnwell, SC, Jane Ashley (Jose) Velez of Knoxville, TN and James Douglas Rigdon, Jr. of Barnwell, SC. One brother; Harold Rigdon of Anderson, SC and one sister, Jayne Petruccelli of Douglasville, GA; three grandchildren, Ashley (Tim) Paul of Martinez, GA, Jordyn Rachel Velez of Columbia, SC and Sarah Velez of Knoxville, TN; three great grandchildren, Isabella Paul, Sarah Paul and Melody Paul.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
