Lyn Sherld Weathersbee

Williston – Lyn Sherld Weathersbee, (66) went to be with her Lord surrounded by family on August 9, 2020. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Williston park at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Beverly Ashley and Rev. Isaac Brown, III officiating.
Lyn was born in Williston, SC on November 20, 1953 to Ethel Mae Holmes and the late Isaac Brown, Jr. She loved cooking and raising the neighborhood. She also loved playing cards and family gatherings. She was an advocate for the truth and being straight forward. She was a member of Culbert Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Williston, SC. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, niece, aunt and cousin. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Weathersbee and her mother Ethel Mae Holmes; two daughters; Tiffany Williams of Williston, SC and Tara (Mike) Shackleford of Phoenix AR; four sons; Jesse (Candice) Williams of Charleston, SC, Jimmy Weathersbee, Jr. of Simi Valley, CA, Jeffry Weathersbee of Goodyear, AR and Jason Weathersbee of Williston, SC; two sisters; Cynthia Mae (James) Harris of Williston, SC and Lealia Annette Brown (Timothy) Scott of Williston, SC. One brother; Rev. Isaac (Laurie) Brown, III of Summerville, SC; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; A host of nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She is predeceased by her brother Danny Anthony Brown.
