Barnwell – Marie Mikell Riddley, 73, went into eternal rest on April 19, 2020. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23rd from 4 – 6 p.m. with family and friends at Dyches Funeral Home & Crematory, Barnwell, SC.
Marie was the daughter of the late James C. and Willie Mae Mikell. Marie was a social worker for many years for DSS. She was of the Baptist faith and loved many of the local churches. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by many.
Survivors include two sons; Chris Riddley of Atlanta, GA and Corey (Priscilla) Riddley of Charlotte, NC. Two sisters; Vicky Mikell of Hampton, SC and Catherine Parker of Atlanta, GA. Four brothers; Johnny (Lisa) Mikell of Providence Forge, VA, Theodore Mikell of Atlanta, GA, James C. Mikell of Estill, SC and Frank Mikell of Barnwell, SC. Two grandchildren Kyle Riddley and Austin Riddley of Charlotte, NC.
She is predeceased by one sister Linda Mikell and one brother Jerry Mikell.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with arrangements.
