Barnwell – Annette W. Chavis, 72, passed away on September 11, 2022. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Farrell Ray officiating at Dyches Funeral Home chapel, Barnwell, SC. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Green Branch Pentecostal Church, Barnwell, SC.
Annette was born in Old Ellenton in 1950 to the late Tyler Sue Wall Morris. She loved sewing, crafts and selling produce.
She is survived by her sister, Vickie Smith of Snellings and her brother, Joe Morris of Snellings. One step-son Oliver (Stephanie) Chavis, Jr. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Oliver Daniel Chavis, Sr.; one brother, Grover Thomas Morris, Jr. and step-daughter, Jina Driggers.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with arrangements.
