Maggie F. Scurlock

Barnwell – Maggie Faye Scurlock, 68 went to be with her Lord on October 25, 2020. A memorial service with the body present will be held at Dyches Funeral Home Chapel Barnwell, SC, November, 3rd at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Mask and social distancing will be observed at the services and visitation.
Maggie was born in 1952 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to the late Martha E. Shepard. She loved reading, cooking, dancing and listening to music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by many.
Survivors include three daughters; Marcine Scurlock of Bronx, NY, Patrina Flood and Martrice Scurlock both or Barnwell, SC; two sons, Steven Sheppard and Richard Eugene Scurlock, Jr. both of North Carolina; two sisters, Barbara Patterson and Vivian Thurmond of Barnwell, SC; one brother, Richard (Darlene) Williams of Barnwell,SC. Thirteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; special friend, Sylvester Williams.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
