Barnwell – James Walters, 58 went into eternal rest on April 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. A Home Going Service will be May 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Dyches Funeral Home Chapel, Barnwell, SC with the Rev. Garneita Myers officiating.
James was born in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Edgar Walters, Jr. and Bertha Mae Coons.
James was a member of Rosemary Baptist Church. James had a natural talent and love for drawing and the outdoors. He was a loving cousin, friend and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his cousins Sarah (Donald) Williams of Aiken, Josie Barker, George (Yvonne) Buggs, Jr., Marshall Buggs and Columbus (Linda) Buggs all of Barnwell, SC.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
