Augusta – Mary Ann Lewis, 67 passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 10, 2021. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at Gracewood United Methodist Church, 2117 Tobacco Road, Augusta, GA at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Wayne Usey.
Mary Ann was the daughter of Ruth Elizabeth Pardue Weeks of Augusta, GA and the late Harvey Franklin Baker. She was retired after spending thirty plus years in the dentistry industry. She was a member of Morning Side Baptist Church. She loved the beach and spending time outdoors. She was a very giving person and cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her husband Samuel W. Lewis, III,, her mother Ruth Weeks of Augusta; one son; Rocky (Twyla) Weaver of Gaston, AL; two daughters; Becky Ginn of Augusta, GA, Lisa Lewis of Augusta, GA; two sisters; Dena Hewitt of Michigan and Rachael Nichols of Aiken; seven brothers; Butch Baker of Augusta, GA, Birt Baker of Gloverville, SC, Bruce Baker of Langley, SC, Ashley Weeks of Augusta, GA, Alan Weeks of Aiken, SC, Carl Weeks of Augusta, GA and Larry Weeks of Augusta, GA. Three grandchildren; Carson, Dylan and Sammy.
In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
